EMC publishes audited financial statements for 2021 in Russian

Nicosia, Cyprus, 9 September 2022. United Medical Group CY PLC (hereafter the “company”, and together with its subsidiaries the “group” or “EMC”; Moscow Exchange ticker GEMC), a leading multidisciplinary provider of premium healthcare services in Russia operating under the European Medical Center brand, publishes the audited consolidated financial statements for the year ended December 31, 2021 in Russian and English languages.

The report in Russian is published at the request of the regulatory authorities and starting from the period of FY’2021, the company will disclose the results in Russian regularly. In April 2022, the Company has already published audited financial statements for 2021 in English with an independent auditor's report signed by Deloitte & Touche CIS. The financial statements published today contain the opinion of Deloitte Limited (Cyprus), prepared for the regulatory authorities of the Republic of Cyprus.

Unlike the opinion prepared by Deloitte & Touche CIS, the version of Deloitte Limited (Cyprus) contains a clause related to the inability to verify the structure of holders of depositary receipts issued by the Company. In this regard, the Company declares that the depository receipts holders’ rights are registered by multiple third-party depositories and the Company is unable to obtain accurate information about the structure of owners. At the same time, the financial figures in both versions of the statements completely coincide.
